However, unlike the i7+ or other top rated robots we tested, the i3+ doesn't have obstacle-avoidance capabilities which means it can be stuck on things like power cords or socks, and may have issues traversing transitions across surfaces, such as from hardwood to carpet.
iRobot recommends that you tidy the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other items it may encounter. It is also recommended to keep the dustbin and filters clean to prevent them from becoming clogged. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and automatically takes the dirt out of the docking station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning where it left off. Battery life is about an hour-and-a-half of continuous use. It takes three hours to charge.
2. Roomba by iRobot
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model in the iRobot flagship line, and it is equipped with the most recent features. It's self-charging and self-navigating. -- the most important feature of all -- it has self-emptying bins that eliminate one of the main sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy it self-empties its dust bin, which eliminates a major source of maintenance and lowers the amount of time spent cleaning.
We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room and sweep the area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. When connected we were able to use the i7+'s voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This is an average, not an exceptional, time to run an electric cordless vacuum powered by batteries. This is still enough to clean most of a typical-sized home however, it's not enough to cover every spot (though a second run-through usually can be effective). This model has its own advantages, however: it's lighter and more maneuverable than older Dysons cordless models and its ability to vacuum is noticeably superior on low-pile floor carpet.
4. iRobot Roomba 694"
One of iRobot's most adored robot vacuums The 694 is a basic model that's a great option for those who don't want to invest too much on a robot.
