It's also easy to set up and use with the app that guides you step-by-step through the process. Its ability to resume where it left off in our tests is another impressive feature. It was able to do this for 77 minutes on one cleaning before the battery died.
Unlike some of the other robovacs we test, the i3+ EVO has an automatic emptying bin that dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on its charging base when it's filled. This makes it easier to maintain the unit and keeps the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it still requires manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dustbin holds 2.4L of waste, which is enough to get it through five or four cleaning sessions before needing to replace it.
This model, like the i7 uses state-ofthe-art floor-tracking sensors that create maps. It can also allow you to navigate through neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, while the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7 also has the ability to utilize its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO cannot.
Although the i3+ EVO is more effective in picking up debris on surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at, it's not the best for cleaning edges and corners. It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly silent. It moved chairs away from walls and made some collisions with the sides of our bed, and it was stuck to cords and toys during testing.

The 240-minute runtime is very generous compared to others we've examined. When the battery is low, it will automatically return to its dock where it recharges and then resumes cleaning where it left off. You can control the Q5 Pro via the app and also use voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
This is the first robot we've seen that incorporates 3D mapping. This along with other advances, helped it perform exceptionally well in our tests for vacuuming and mopping test. You can schedule cleanings and set up no-go zones. You can also see the battery's status. The app is simple to use, but it does not support Apple HomeKit and that feature is slated to be added by 2025. Apple changed its footnote on its website in November of this year to reflect the fact that the feature was delayed until 2025. Some other robots won't work with HomeKit however, a lot of them work with Siri Shortcuts.
